Founded on August 16, 1890, the Royal Lake Club is centrally located in Kuala Lumpur amidst the luscious and green Lake Gardens in the shadow of the House of Parliament. Today, as envisioned by former Prime Minister and Past President, the late Tun Abdul Razak, the Club is the country's premier club.

From an exclusive institution for British professionals, merchants, planters and colonial officers, the Club has evolved through the years to become a cosmopolitan social club, playing an eminent role in setting standards and in maintaining its own strict code of excellence; culminating in the bestowal of royal patronage in 1985 by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor.

As one of the oldest and leading social clubs, the Royal Lake Club will continue to be a conducive venue for the private and public sectors to meet and develop lasting ties as well as serve as a haven for good family values.
